Our Team
Doug Orr
Doug is the Founder & President of Pioneer Leadership Advisors - an organization built on Doug's more than 20 years of experience in positions of leadership and service. He brings a passion to empower leaders to forge generational legacies through the work that he does as an executive coach, leadership advisor, and executive recruiter. For over a decade, Doug has advised clients spanning both publicly traded companies and private equity-backed organizations in the recruitment of Non-Executive Directors, Chief Executive Officers, senior P&L leaders, and Chief Financial Officers within the energy industry. Doug also serves as an advisory board member for the Energy Workforce & Technology Council and is a member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA).
An active member of his community, Doug co-founded the 501.c.3, "Greenspoint Community Partnership" (GCP) where he currently serves as Executive Director. GCP's mission is to renew communities by investing in neighborhoods through strategic partnerships with local and corporate stakeholders.
Doug is a U.S. veteran, serving more than 10 years as a Combat Engineer Officer in the United States Marine Corps during which time he deployed four times to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Candyce Orr
Candyce Orr is the Chief Administrative Officer at Pioneer Leadership Advisors where she manages all back-office operations and administrative functions. She brings experience in organizational management, event coordination, and process improvement, developed through her leadership roles in both non-profit and church settings.
Prior to joining Pioneer Leadership Advisors, Candyce served as Director of Events & Outreach at an international church. In this role, she led disaster relief efforts, expanded a food pantry program to serve over 1,000 families each month, managed budgets, and established new community programs. She also has experience planning large-scale events, supporting international missions, and overseeing teams.
Outside of work, Candyce is dedicated to her two teenage children and is an active volunteer at their school. She also supports non-profit organizations, including Eyes On Me, which is central to her family's community involvement.
